How much water and sewer is allowed to stay within the minimum

charge?

Water: 0-4500 gallons is $30.00, once you go over the 4,500 gallons you are charged $6.67 per 1,000 gallons (prorates to the exact amount being used). Sewer: For the customers that are connected to the sewer system, the sewer charges work the same way 0-4,500 gallons is a base fee of $24.00 and once you go over the 4,500 gallons you are charged $5.33 per 1,000 gallons (prorates to the exact amount being used).

Summary of Water and Sewer Charges:

Water Only Customers: $30 per month for 0-4,500 gallons of water usage for customers with water service only. This is the base amount and if a customer uses more than the 4,500 minimum, they are charged $6.67 per 1,000 gallons of usage over the 4,500. Water and Sewer Customers: $24 per month for 0-4,500 gallons for sewer customers plus OMR charge of $8.70 and $30 per month for water for 0-4,500 gallons equals a monthly bill of $62.70. This is the base amount and if a customer uses more than the 4,500 minimum, they are charged $5.33 per 1,000 gallons of usage over the 4,500.

What are OMR Charges?

Operational Maintenance Repair. It is a fee that covers the expenses necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the entire sewer infrastructure.

How does the billing cycle work?

The schedule will relatively be the same each month. We will bill for the previous month’s usage. The billing schedule will look like this: Payment is due on the 21st of each month. Penalty applied on the 22nd. Next bill will be generated on the 25th and mailed to customers or emailed if that option is chosen.

What if I don’t receive a bill in the mail?

If you would like to pay ahead and there is an over-payment on your account, our system will not generate a bill for you. Or if your bill was lost in the mail then -Please call to obtain a duplicate.

I'm a snow bird and I never receive my post card bill in the mail on time.

I would rather pay my utility bill online. Is there a way to do that?

What if I have a leak and my bill is high?

Please contact our Public Works Department and they will help determine if it is a leak, the township needs to fix (main line) or a line you need to fix (service line).

Who is responsible for the replacement of my meter if it is not working?

The Township will replace the meter if it is not working properly. If the Township finds the cause is due to the homeowner’s neglect, then the homeowners will have to pay for the cost of the replacement of the meter. The rest of the plumbing is the responsibility of the homeowner.

Leaky toilet?

If you have a leaky toilet you will want to fix this immediately as this will cause your water and sewer bill to be high.
